As a tele-health practitioner, I believe compassion is a powerful force in meeting life’s challenges. Regardless of our position and circumstances, we all have experiences that are challenging, stressful and unfulfilling. Sometimes these challenges require extra support. Whether you are working through on-going mental health issues, having a tough time working through trauma, experiencing relationship dysfunction, or any other stressful situations, I’m here to help you work through it. My core therapeutic values and approach provide guidance for myself and clients as we work together toward peaceful resolutions to some of life’s most challenging obstacles.

My therapeutic core values and approach

  • Safety - I provide a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors.

  • Compassion - We are all human and make human choices (this includes those choices we deem “mistakes”).

  • Self awareness and discovery - In our safe space I provide honest feedback and tools to enhance self growth.

  • Balance - Our environments, emotions, thoughts, behaviors and physiology all interact to influence our patterns of thoughts and behaviors.

  • Unconditional Regard - I believe the therapeutic relationship is where healing happens.  I approach these relationships with acceptance and love.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been working with children, adults, and families for twelve years. I believe we all strive for connection in our lives and as we work together to find healing and peace during challenging times I hope to help you feel more connected and grounded in your life. Sometimes a person seeks out the support of a therapist because they are experiencing distress from everyday life experiences, at other times, our own life experiences have caused trauma that is impacting our current ability to function with fullness. I believe that if we are to understand our current thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior, we have to explore our life experiences that may still be impacting us.

As a telehealth practitioner, I provide a safe emotional space to explore and work with you through life’s challenges while you are in the physical space you feel most comfortable. With compassion and unconditional positive regard, I am here to help you work through mental health struggles, past trauma, and everyday life challenges. I’m a certified Infant/Family clinical practitioner trained in EMDR and Sand Tray methods. I guide and support new parents and parents of young children through the learning processes and struggles they encounter. I’m knowledgeable with our local valley school districts, and I support families whose children are struggling in school.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I also provide supervision for those seeking clinical licensure.

We often encounter daily obstacles in our lives that seem to go unnoticed by others. We have a tendency to sometimes forget that we are humans, humans who are filled with feelings and dreams and just need to feel heard and accepted.

As a tele-health professional, I believe in creating a kind, trusting, and empathetic environment for everyone I am fortunate enough to work with. Together we can work on creating that environment filled with love and acceptance, as well as work through navigating any challenges you might be experiencing.

I approach treatment by focusing on creating a relationship built on the foundation of compassion, acceptance and trust. I believe each person is capable of improving and making changes in their mental health if they have the desire and support. Allow me to be a part of that support system for you. Connect with me via Pathways to Connection.

Hi! My name is Aniett and I am a bi-lingual tele-health licensed professional counselor. I strive to provide individuals of diverse backgrounds with a therapy experience that is authentic, relaxing, fun, and a place of connection. My hope is for my client to recognize their strengths, be an active participant in their journey towards healing, and feel hopeful for their future. My work draws from experiences of working with individuals who have struggled with addictions, substance use, and trauma which have created internal and external conflicts.

I desire to demonstrate to individuals that there is meaning to their stories, even the painful ones. My hope and desire in our work together is that you are able to feel encouraged, supported, and safe enough to share your story to help you overcome those challenges and help you begin to feel better!

I am also able to provide a Christian based approach to therapy for those who desire to integrate their faith into treatment. Connect with me via Pathways To Connection.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker with seven years of trauma-based social work experience, my goal in working with clients is best expressed with the words of Dr. J. Eric Gentry: I strive to be “an elegant and effective instrument of transformation and agent of change in the lives of others.” I specialize in working with women and adolescent/teenage girls using a 21st-century approach to mental health and trauma work utilizing the most fundamental aspect of trauma-focused therapy. The foundation of this approach is honoring the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit, and soul in leading clients to a life of freedom from trauma and mental health-related challenges. I work with both individual clients and their partners and families.

The metaphor of a desert in bloom best describes my practice philosophy. While all cacti have the potential to bloom, not all have the right combination of elements to do so. They must exist in an environment that provides them the right amount of nourishment to flourish. It is the collective environment that determines if they will or will not produce their flowers. Are you being nourished enough to bloom? Is the environment you live in and provide for yourself giving you the ability to thrive? It is my belief that all the aspects of your life and parts of your body work together to shape your experience of life.

I spent two years of my social work career working at a crisis domestic violence shelter and as a domestic violence victim advocate and five years at a mental health social services agency for children in my role as a High Needs Case Manager, ending with a clinical internship as a trauma therapist. I worked with single women and women with families experiencing domestic violence and children in state care, foster care, and the juvenile justice system. I also worked at a residential eating disorder treatment program and specialize in helping clients work through disordered thoughts around food and eating. These experiences led to my passion for trauma processing and healing and solidified my commitment to helping clients heal, grow, bloom and thrive.
